Welcome to the dark side (or light side depending upon your perspective). If I remember correctly, when I purchased a MacBook Pro for podcasting, someone who's name is at the top of this page, said - why wouldn't you just stick with your PC. :)

By the way, just in case you miss windows - you can load Boot Camp or Parallels on your MacBook and it runs Windows just as well as any Dell.

Good luck with your Mac. Hope things continue to go well for all of you guys at Victory!

God Bless
Travis.

Hey Travis,

Good to hear from you! And yes, I did question why you left the PC and went to Mac...but NOW I KNOW! One question, which program do you use for your word processor on the Mac?

Jason Taylor

Congratulations. I made the switch a couple of years ago and will never go back. In fact, I have windows on my Macbook with parrellels, but have never used it! If your going to switch go all the way. Get Word, Excel, Powerpoint for Mac. Drop Windows!! Don't listen to Travis! Just kidding Travis.

Wow! I feel like I have entered into a very "elite" group of guys! I'm honored! As far as the Parallels program goes, I just loaded it so I could run my WordSearch 7 bible study software program. I checked with WordSearch and they do not have a Mac program. So, I guess I'm really about 90% Mac and 10% Windows! Nothing like straddling the fence...sounds like some church members I know! Haha!

Jon,

I used Microsoft Word for Mac for a while. I just started using abiword. http://www.abisource.com/
It's new to me, so the verdict is still out, but I think it is going to work pretty well. And it's FREE!
