Your blog has blesses me about turning things over to the Lord. He has written, Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit. It's a joy to know that when we have done our best he is a very present help in time of trouble.
I liked how you said grab hold of his word. Truly when Peter stepped out of the boat in faith doing what the Lord not only allowed, but knew he couldn't do, he grabbed onto the Word of God.
I liked the part about forgivness being about us as well.
I truly believe that the Lord knows who will offend or wrong us before we do. If he stopped it from happening not only would we never bear witness at the throne of God that we do forgive but our faith and trust in him wouldn't grow as well. And, of course, we would never get over our own pride and ego.
I also enjoyed the part of speaking life to the situation. That's the hard part. When I think of how the Lord suffered for our sins and yet held his peace it makes me ashamed to get on the "woe is me" kick for my piddly problems. He truly suffered more than any man and even if I never have anything in this life I have no grounds to complain. And even what little I have is more than he had in the days of his flesh.
I have truly been blessed.
