Have you ever made a "bad" decision? Well, if you are like me and millions of other people, we can all answer that question with a resounding, "Yes!" Sunday I shared this message and I thought I would share the outline with you (you can listen to the message on my podcast page). Below are six questions we should ask before making a decision:
- Is it in harmony with God's Word? (Ps. 119:105)
- Would I want everyone to know about the decision I'm making? (Prov. 10:9; Ja. 4:17)
- Will it make me a better person? (1 Cor. 10:23)
- Could it become addicting to me? (1 Cor. 6:12)
- Will it harm other people? (Rom. 14:12-13; 15:1-2)
- Is it the best use of my life and/or time? (Eph. 5:15-17)
I challenge you to put every decision to the test. It will make us all far more effective!
